Neil Young wciąż nie przestaje zaskakiwać, a 35. album w jego dorobku można nazwać pionierskim. Na pomysł nagrania wpadł Jack White, jeden z jego największych fanów, a zarazem miłośnik starych brzmień.

Urodzony w 1945 roku muzyk pisze list do domu. Pojawiają się pytania rodzące problem. Czy list, który trafia w nasze ręce jest autentyczny, czy to tylko marna podróbka? Niesie osobistą treść, czy też zwykłe bazgroły znudzonego artysty?

Na swoim trzydziestym piątym albumie Neil Young odcina się (przynajmniej) na chwilę od swoich ostatnich, długaśnych, psychodelicznych, a zarazem bardzo smacznych dokonań i nagrywa covery. Kolegów po fachu.
