Kobietę na artpopowo-progresywnym poletku znaleźć nie jest łatwo. Niedoścignionym ideałem w tej kategorii pozostaje Kate Bush, której nie trzeba przedstawiać nikomu - wszak jest to jedna z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych kobiet w historii muzyki. W "drugim pokoleniu" kobiet artpopu należałoby wyróżnić Marjanę Semkinę (iamthemorning, solo), Joannę Newsom...
